To experience the inseparability of the dimensions of being is to awaken.
Inseparability is the nonduality of form and emptiness – the unity of the two spheres of form and the single sphere of emptiness. The two spheres of form are intangible appearance and tangible manifestation.
To deny inseparability, to deny nonduality, is to be deluded. The attempt to split form and emptiness is delusion, through denying emptiness and attempting to manipulate form.
The inseparability of the three spheres is expressed as a fourth sphere – the sphere of indivisibility. It is impossible—of course—to force the three spheres to be disunited – and yet that is what is being attempted continually by all beings.
Awakening is ceasing to engage in this process.
